Jon runs the CheapTrivia network — a publisher of trivia content for pub hosts, classroom teachers, family game-night organizers, and corporate event planners. He started CheapTrivia in 2019 after running pub trivia events and finding existing question packs either too academic or too dated to use without rewriting. Today the network publishes verified, host-tested trivia across 9 themed sites covering holidays, fandoms, and event-format guides.

Our editorial standards

Every trivia entry on this site goes through a verification process before it's published:

Source check. Each fact is cross-checked against at least two reputable sources — official references, original publications, encyclopedic sources, or primary documents.
Currency check. Facts that can change over time are dated and re-verified annually. Where we know a fact is current as of a specific year, we say so inline.
Difficulty calibration. Questions tagged easy / medium / hard are calibrated against typical pub-trivia difficulty bands — easy ≈ 80% answer rate, medium ≈ 50%, hard ≈ 20%.
Bias review. We flag and rewrite questions that lean on regional knowledge, dated cultural references, or assumptions about audience demographics.

Corrections

If you spot an error, we want to fix it. The fastest way to reach us is via the contact form on our parent site, CheapTrivia. We typically correct verified errors within 48 hours.

How we fund the site

TriviaAboutChristmas.com is part of the CheapTrivia network. We sell printable trivia packs at CheapTrivia.com, and we link to them from our content. The free questions on this site are real questions — not teaser-only — and you can always ignore the upgrade prompts and use everything we publish for free, forever.

Privacy and accessibility

We use Google Analytics for traffic measurement; no other third-party trackers. We don't collect email addresses unless you specifically subscribe.

We aim for WCAG 2 AA color contrast and keyboard navigation across the site. If you find an accessibility issue, please email us and we'll fix it.
